Kandersteg, Bernese Oberland

The Fetzer family, hosts at the Chalet-Hotel Adler for four generations

Since 1906

A guest house that remembers you

For over a hundred years, the Fetzer family has run the Adler in the heart of Kandersteg — now in its fourth and fifth generation. People still greet you by name here.

With us, you are a guest we remember, not a booking number. The village sits at your feet, the mountains stand watch, and the welcome stays personal — 365 days a year.

The Loveroom

A whirlpool at the push of a button, right on the balcony

Eleven double rooms at the Adler transform at the push of a button: the whirlpool tub slides through the window onto your own balcony. You lie in warm water, the peaks of the Bernese Oberland above you, the village of Kandersteg below.

Two further double rooms have a fixed whirlpool tub built into the room. Deluxe rooms, a suite and a loft round out the Loveroom category.
